Lead planner + designer, Abby Bose, brings to life beautiful, thoughtful weddings throughout the Lowcountry. Combined with her 12+ years of experience in the wedding + event industry, and her extreme passion for planning, designing, and executing events, Abby strives to create unique, memorable experiences for all of her couples, while keeping them relaxed + smiling throughout the entire planning process.
Abby has had a deep-seated love for all things organization, planning, and events for as long as she can remember. Throughout school, she shadowed many wedding + event planners in Raleigh, NC. Abby also spent time working at a luxury paper boutique, selling, designing, and ordering wedding stationery.
Throughout her undergraduate years at North Carolina State University, she worked in the Sales & Events Office of a downtown Raleigh venue + catering company, 214 Martin Street. This is also where Abby got her start in catering on + off site events, as well as day to day venue management + operations. Abby later went on to become the Venue Coordinator for 214’s sister venue, Traine.
Abby received her degree in Parks, Recreation, & Tourism Management, with a concentration on Tourism & Commercial Recreation. After school, she made the leap from the Triangle to the Lowcountry, and began developing all new relationships throughout the Charleston wedding industry. Abby kicked off her career at The Dewberry Hotel and Duvall Catering & Events upon moving. She later joined the Charleston branch of a nationally known wedding planning firm, Chancey Charm, and thus, Suterland Weddings was born! In between her own clients' weddings, Abby also freelances for a number of local wedding + event florists.
When she has a weekend off, you’re likely to find her either at home with a wood-fired pizza + Sauvignon Blanc, snuggling with her beloved fur babies, Phoebe, Joey + Finley, or out exploring local breweries, + coffee shops her husband, Jeremy!
